Oppo is already laying the groundwork for its next flagship foldable, with an early leak pointing to a device that would succeed the Find N6. The Find N6 debuted in March 2026, and according to information shared by the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, its successor is expected to be called the Find N7.

Two design directions under evaluation

The leak indicates Oppo is currently exploring two distinct rear camera layouts for the Find N7. One prototype reportedly adopts a large circular housing that echoes the design language of the current Find N6. The other is said to feature a pill-shaped camera module, suggesting the company is still weighing a potential visual refresh before finalizing the hardware.

Next-generation silicon and memory

Powering the device is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 (SM8950) chipset. This provides an early indication of the platform generation, as Qualcomm is widely anticipated to introduce two variants later this year: the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and a higher-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. Both are projected to be built on a 2nm process. The standard version is believed to pair an Adreno 845 GPU with LPDDR5X RAM, while the Pro is tipped to upgrade to an Adreno 850 GPU and faster LPDDR6 memory. It remains unclear which variant Oppo will select for the Find N7.

Battery ambitions and launch timeline

Battery capacity is another area where Oppo appears to be pushing boundaries. The tipster suggests the Find N7 is targeting a cell in the 6,000 mAh range, with early-stage development plans reportedly aiming for approximately 6,500 mAh. Such a figure would represent a meaningful step forward for book-style foldables. As for availability, the Find N7 is currently tipped for a launch in the first quarter of 2027.
