Onexplayer 3 Starts Crowdfunding

So the Onexplayer 3 handheld has finally launched on Indiegogo, and the pricing for all the different configs is now public. It begins at $1,399 for the 24GB RAM and 512GB storage model, then the 24GB/1TB version is $1,499, and the top-end 32GB/1TB model costs $1,699. Even though it smashes the $1,000 barrier, this handheld still puts pressure on devices like the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+, which goes for just above $1,200 and earned a solid 85% in our review.

Graphics and Display Specs

Powdered by the Intel Arc G3 Extreme and Intel Arc B390 graphics, the Onexplayer 3 uses a 8.8-inch native landscape AMOLED display panel. It's resolution is 1920×1200, and other screen specs include HDR support, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, up to 1100 nits peak brightness, and 144Hz VRR. Turning to the design, the company has choosen a modular 3-in-1 setup with detachable controllers and a magnetic keyboard, effectivly allowing it to serve as a gaming handheld, a standalone tablet, and a mini laptop all at once.

Battery and Cooling Features

You get an 85Wh battery thats paired with a 35W full-power mode on board. The cooling is handled by a 11,203 mm² vapor chamber plus a 16,644 mm² aluminum fin array. As allways, a crowdfunding campaign does not guarantee availability, so potential buyers should familiarise themselves with the risks before deciding weather to make a purchase.
