The feature phone market is about to get a notably durable addition, as full specifications and pricing for the Nokia 300 Power Bank have surfaced via a Philippine retailer’s online listing. Originally teased through earlier leaks, the device officially positions itself as a rugged handset with an unusual dual-purpose capability, echoing the spirit of HMD’s Terra M and the classic Nokia 800 Tough.
Rugged build and basic imaging
The Nokia 300 Power Bank sports a compact 2.4-inch QVGA display wrapped in a textured, anti-slip body designed for rough handling. While the listing does not disclose processor, RAM, or built-in storage details, a separate report indicates the rear camera is a 0.3-megapixel sensor. Durability credentials include an IP65 dust and water resistance rating, alongside support for microSD cards with a maximum capacity of 32GB.
Battery life and a built-in flashlight
One of the device’s standout attributes is its 3,700mAh battery, which is modest by smartphone standards but substantial for a feature phone. It supports 18W charging and is rated for up to 45 days of standby time, approximately 26 hours of talk time or audio playback, and up to 23 hours with the torch activated. HMD claims this high-intensity torch is five times brighter than a standard feature phone light and twice as bright as the LED flash found on the iPhone 16 Pro.
Reverse charging as a core feature
True to its name, the handset doubles as a power bank through a dedicated side button that activates reverse wired charging. Once engaged, it can deliver up to 5W of power to other gadgets. Promotional material depicts it charging smartphones, smartwatches, earbuds, and even low-power accessories such as a small lamp and fan. A 4-in-1 USB cable is included in the box, featuring a USB-C to USB-C base with adapters for additional connectors including USB-A.
Available in Black, Green, and Gold, the Nokia 300 Power Bank is priced at PHP 1,990 (approximately $32.27 or €28). Pre-orders are currently open in the Philippines via Shopee.
