Nework has introduced a new wearable aimed at travelers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Insight AI smart glasses combine an integrated camera, open-ear audio, and a voice-controlled assistant in a design priced to compete with entry-level smart eyewear. The device carries a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $119.99 and is available at launch for $99.99.

Imaging and stabilization

The glasses are built around an 8-megapixel camera module that captures 4K photos and records 1080p video. Electronic image stabilization is included to reduce shake during handheld use. Physical buttons on the frame let users start and stop recording without needing to handle a smartphone, an approach the company says helps keep attention on the surrounding environment rather than on a screen.

AI assistant and connectivity

Insight AI pairs with a companion app on Android and iOS over Bluetooth, which handles media syncing, settings, and access to the Cyan AI assistant. Once connected, wearers can query Cyan about nearby landmarks, scenery, or points of interest while traveling, effectively turning the glasses into a hands-free information tool. The same Bluetooth link routes audio to built-in open-ear speakers, enabling music playback and voice responses without covering the ear canal.

Battery, controls and lenses

A 300 mAh battery provides up to seven hours of music playback, with volume adjusted by swiping the temple arm. When used for video capture, battery life drops to roughly 45 minutes of recording. The glasses feature photochromic lenses that darken automatically in sunlight and clear indoors, eliminating the need to swap between tinted and transparent eyewear.

Market positioning

At just under $100 at launch, the Insight AI glasses sit well below the price of flagship smart glasses from major tech brands, while still offering a camera, open-ear sound, and an AI assistant. The focus on outdoor scenarios and simple button controls differentiates them from display-centric headsets, aiming instead at users who want quick image capture and ambient audio without pulling out a phone.
