Citizen appears to have a new rectangular dress watch on the way, even though the company itself has yet to make an announcement. A product page for the model quietly surfaced on the Zales website, showing the watch as out of stock and offering only a “Notify Me” option—suggesting the listing went live ahead of the brand’s official timeline.
A Traditional Silhouette With Modern Power
The watch, listed as the BJ6570-50E, embraces a classic rectangular dress aesthetic. Its stainless steel case measures 26.5 mm across and 36 mm lug-to-lug, creating the slim, elongated profile often associated with vintage formal watches. A black sunray dial carries Roman numeral markers and is protected by a sapphire crystal.
Inside, Citizen’s light-powered Eco-Drive E037 caliber eliminates the need for battery changes. The timepiece is rated to 50 meters of water resistance, making it suitable for everyday wear and incidental contact with water, though it is not designed for swimming or diving. A stainless-steel bracelet with a fold-over clasp completes the package, which Zales describes as “a study in classic proportions.”
Pricing and Possible Variants
The Zales listing sets the price at $450, though that figure remains unofficial and could be adjusted when Citizen formally introduces the model. Instagram watch account @plus9time, which first highlighted the listing and shared key dimensions, also noted that Citizen’s own product photography hints at two additional versions not yet seen for sale. One is a two-tone design with a black dial, while the other pairs a red dial with a gold-toned case and bracelet. Given that the BJ6570-50E itself has not been confirmed by Citizen, it is unclear when—or if—those alternate configurations will reach the market.
