Lenovo’s ThinkCentre X, first showcased at CES 2026 as a premium desktop alongside the now-launched ThinkCentre X AIO Aura Edition, is preparing for its United States debut. The 34-liter tower has already reached markets including the United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, and India, and a new product page on Lenovo’s US site confirms that an American release is approaching.
US Graphics and Processor Configurations Take Shape
Although the US listing is still labelled “Coming Soon,” it details the hardware choices that will be offered to domestic buyers. The original announcement mentioned configurability up to an RTX 5090, but the American model will instead provide options for either a single GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM or a dual RTX 5060 Ti 16GB setup. On the processing side, Lenovo’s top listed option is the Intel Core Ultra 9 290K Plus, a chip Intel has permanently discontinued. Several other high-end processors remain in the lineup, including the 24-core Core Ultra 9 285 vPro and the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus with vPro support.
Memory Choices and a Steep Price Abroad
Memory configurations allow for as much as 256GB of DDR5-6400 CUDIMM or 128GB of DDR5-5600 UDIMM, giving professional users substantial headroom for demanding workloads. Pricing outside the US already indicates the ThinkCentre X occupies the upper tier of the desktop market. In the UK, the system starts at £2,530, or roughly $3,370. A higher-specification build—with a Core Ultra 9 285 vPro processor, 256GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, a 1200W power supply, and one RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GPU—reaches £10,480, equivalent to about $13,959.
Awaiting the Official US Price
US pricing has not yet been disclosed, and Lenovo has not announced a specific on-sale date. Interested buyers can monitor the Lenovo US website for updates or register to receive availability notifications as the release window approaches.
