Snapdragon ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 Reaches North America and Australia

Lenovo has quietly launched the Qualcomm Snapdragon edition of its ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 in Australia, Canada, and the United States, completing the trio of processor options first showcased at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. The AMD Ryzen AI 400 variant is already shipping, and an Intel Panther Lake configuration is also on sale. While the new Snapdragon model starts at just 1.19 kg, buyers in Europe will have to wait: Lenovo lists availability there as “coming soon,” with no firm timetable announced.

Pricing and Base Specifications by Region

The Snapdragon-powered ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 carries a starting price of AUD 2,490 in Australia, CAD 2,469 in Canada, and $1,719 in the US. Every configuration is built around a 14-inch display and 16 GB of RAM. In North America the entry-level storage drive is 256 GB, while Australian models ship with a 512 GB SSD as standard. All base units feature the Snapdragon X2 Plus X2P-42-100 processor and a 400-nit panel.

Processor Upgrade and Performance

Buyers can step up to the Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-80-100, a 12-core chip positioned as the second-slowest in the X2 Elite family, sitting behind the X2E-84-100, X2E-88-100, and X2E-90-100. Lenovo charges a $160 premium for this upgrade in the US market, delivering roughly a 20 percent performance lift over the base X2 Plus silicon.

Memory, Display, and Battery Life

Memory tops out at 32 GB of LPDDR5X-9600 RAM, and storage choices include 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB M.2 2242 drives. Both display options use 1200p IPS panels with a 60 Hz refresh rate, available in either 400-nit or 500-nit brightness levels. A 58 Wh battery powers the machine, and Lenovo claims it can surpass 27 hours in a series of internal battery life benchmarks.
