Lenovo has expanded the global availability of its ThinkPad T14s Gen 7, introducing configurations built around Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 platform. The refreshed corporate laptop, which previously saw an AMD-powered redesign earlier this year, now reaches Europe and other international markets with a choice of two ARM-based processors.

Qualcomm silicon and memory configurations

The latest model can be ordered with either the Snapdragon X2 Plus X2P-42-100 or the Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-80-100 chipset. Despite the tiered naming, Lenovo’s internal benchmarks indicate approximately a 20 percent performance gap between the two variants. Memory across the line relies on fast LPDDR5X-9600 RAM, and storage is handled by an M.2 2242 SSD. The Elite configuration ships with 32 GB of RAM as standard, while the Plus-based entry point pairs 16 GB of memory with a 256 GB solid-state drive.

Display choices and chassis features

Both display options are 14-inch IPS panels running at a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate. The more affordable touch-enabled screen reaches 400 nits of peak brightness and covers 45 percent of the NTSC colour gamut. Stepping up to the non-touch alternative lifts maximum brightness to 500 nits and delivers 100 percent sRGB colour space coverage, suiting workflows that demand greater colour accuracy. A 58 Wh battery and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity are included across all configurations.

Regional pricing and market context

European pricing starts between €2,009 and €2,280 for the Snapdragon X2 Plus model with 16 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD, while the same specification is listed at £1,909 in the United Kingdom. By comparison, an equivalent configuration retails for $1,719 in the United States. The ThinkPad T14s Gen 7’s ARM-based refresh arrives after reviewers noted strong system performance and long battery life on the AMD version, though some observed elevated standby power draw that impacted everyday endurance.
