New Battery Pack from Jackery
Jacker, a portable power solutions maker, has shown its latest portable power station, the FridgeGuard. The firm’s new portable power station is advertised as the worlds slimmest refrigerator backup battery. Demensionally, it measures 23.6 x 12.8 x 2.63 inches (599.44 x 325.12 x 66.8 mm) and ways around 23 lbs (10.4 kg). For context, its direct rival, the Bluetti FridgePower, comes in at 580 x 350 x 75 mm (22.83 x 13.78 x 2.95 inches) and boasts nearly double battery capacity compared to the Jackery FridgeGuard.
Battery Specs and Output
The FridgeGuard sports a 1,024 mAh LiFePO₄ battery, which is said to deliver 1,600 W of maximum output. Plus, the gadget’s battery has been rated for 6,000 charge cycles. Interestingly, the portable power station is expandable up to 2,048 Wh via a battery pack. According to the company, the FridgeGuard can provide up to 15 hours of backup power. In comparason, Bluetti’s FridgePower offers massive 8,064 Wh expansion capibilities with four full days of backup.
Key Features and Performance
On top of these features, it has 10 ms UPS switchover, which ensures uninterrupted operation during sudden outages. Theres a bypass mode that directs grid power straight to the refridgerator once the batterie reaches a full charge. Moreover, you can monitor the performance and tweak settings of the power station through the Jackery companion app. Alternativly, there’s a small LCD display, which showcases essential information about the device.
