iQoo has quietly introduced a new addition to its Z11 lineup in China, targeting budget-conscious buyers with the iQoo Z11i. The launch rounds out a series that already includes the standard Z11, the Z11 Turbo, and the Z11x. Unlike its siblings, the Z11i shifts to a Qualcomm platform for its entry-level 5G ambitions.
Silicon and Storage Configuration
At the heart of the device is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Users who need more room can expand capacity to as much as 1 TB through a microSD card slot. This processor choice sets the Z11i apart from the MediaTek-powered Z11 and Z11x, while the Z11 Turbo remains the range’s performance leader with its flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.
Display and Camera Specs
The Z11i is built around a 6.74-inch LCD panel with a 1600 x 720 pixel resolution. The screen offers a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. For photography, the handset relies on a single 13 MP rear camera assisted by an LED flash and an RGB ring light. A basic 5 MP front-facing sensor handles selfies and video calls.
Software and Battery Life
The phone ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box, though iQoo has not disclosed any long-term software support commitments, leaving an open question about future updates. It carries the smallest battery in the Z11 family, a 6,500 mAh cell with 15 W wired charging, which nonetheless points to extended screen-on time given the modest display resolution. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, dual-band WiFi, and support for up to 8 GB of dynamic RAM expansion.
Pricing and Availability
Pricing begins at CNY 1,299 ($190) for the 6 GB RAM plus 128 GB storage variant. The 8 GB + 128 GB configuration costs CNY 1,499 ($210), while the range-topping 8 GB + 256 GB model is listed at CNY 1,699 (~$240). Sales are now live in China through Vivo’s official online store, with color options spanning desert gold, ink shadow, and light blue. The company has yet to confirm any plans to bring the Z11i to international markets.
