HP has expanded its EliteBook 8 G2 series with a new 16-inch configuration, adding a larger display option to the business laptop lineup that was first unveiled in March. The refreshed family already included several smaller models that are now widely available through global channels.
Existing lineup and processor choices
The current range features the EliteBook 8 G2i 13, EliteBook 8 Flip G2i 13, and EliteBook 8 G2i 14. These compact variants ship with Intel’s more modest Panther Lake processors, including the Core Ultra 7 355. HP also offers the 16-inch EliteBook 8 G2i with entry-level Panther Lake chips such as the Core Ultra 5 322, Core Ultra 5 332, and Core Ultra 5 325.
Higher-performance configurations on the 16-inch model
The newly detailed 16-inch version scales well beyond those options, reaching up to the Core Ultra X7 358H and Core Ultra X7 368H processors. When paired with a maximum of 64 GB of RAM, these chips activate Intel’s Arc B390 integrated graphics, which feature 12 Xe3 cores. This represents a significant step up in graphics capability for demanding professional workloads.
Display, storage, and battery options
Buyers can tailor the EliteBook 8 G2i 16-inch with several display panels: a 1200p OLED screen, a 1200p IPS panel rated at 800 nits peak brightness, or a 1600p IPS panel with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate. PCIe Gen 5 storage is available as a configurable option, alongside a choice between 68 Wh and 77 Wh batteries. Pricing starts at $2,968 in the United States, £1,799 in the United Kingdom, and €2,133 in the Eurozone. Full configuration details are accessible through HP’s regional websites.
