Hanhart has released a new version of its Aquasphere dive watch, finished this time in a deep matte black. Beyond the case treatment, the core specifications of the timepiece remain consistent with the blue debut model introduced last year, reflecting an aesthetic evolution rather than a mechanical overhaul.
Dial and Bezel Details
The matte black dial features white applied hour markers and silver-colored rehaut frames around the hands, creating a high-contrast display. Hanhart’s characteristic red accents appear on the tip of the central seconds hand and on the black ceramic unidirectional bezel, which operates with 60 distinct clicks. All bezel markings—including triangles, indices, and numerals—are filled with Super-LumiNova C1 to ensure readability in dark environments. The steel case is water-resistant to 300 meters (30 bar).
Movement and Power Reserve
Inside, the Aquasphere relies on the automatic Sellita SW200-1 caliber, a Swiss movement that oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and contains 21 jewels, delivering a power reserve of up to 38 hours.
Strap Options and Pricing
Hanhart presents the watch with three wearing options. Buyers can choose an elastic hook strap, an FKM rubber strap fitted with a folding clasp, or a full stainless steel bracelet. Pricing starts at €1,294.12 on the hook strap, rises to €1,378.15 on the rubber strap, and reaches €1,462.18 on the stainless steel bracelet.
