Acer has unveiled its latest tablet, the Iconia X12, just before IFA 2024. This tablet focuses on providing a blend of productivity and entertainment, offering a sizable screen within a thin frame and a robust processor.

The Iconia X12 includes a 12.6-inch 2.5K AMOLED display, quad stereo speakers, and a slim 6.7 mm profile. It is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256 GB of storage, ensuring sufficient performance for multitasking and demanding applications.

To boost productivity, Acer has launched several accessories for the Iconia X12. These include an aluminum stylus pen, a portfolio case with a stylus slot and adjustable stand, and a detachable Bluetooth keyboard with a trackpad. The tablet features a quad-speaker setup for enhanced audio.

The Iconia X12 is equipped with an 8 MP front camera for video calls and selfies, and a 13 MP autofocus rear camera with flash for taking photos and videos. It has a 10,000 mAh battery that supports quick charging, a USB Type-C port, a microSD card slot (up to 1 TB), and an earphone jack. Acer has set the price of the tablet at USD 349 / 369 Euros / 2,688 RMB, positioning it as a competitive market choice. The Iconia X12 is anticipated to hit the shelves in North America, EMEA, and China by January 2025.

In related news, Red Magic is poised to release two gaming tablets later today with 10.9-inch and 12.4-inch screens. Both versions will have a similar design, featuring a 50 MP rear camera, RGB lighting, and two colors: Deuterium Transparent Silver Wing and Dark Night.

The 10.9-inch model will feature a 2.8K LCD display, a 144Hz refresh rate, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Meanwhile, the 12.4-inch variant is expected to contain a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a larger battery.
