Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026 is kicking off next week at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona, where Zotac will unveil a new single-board computer (SBC) at the event.
Introducing the CM5-PICO
Zotac is set to present the CM5-PICO computer, which operates on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module (CM5) during ISE 2026. The company asserts that this is the smallest and most feature-rich CM5-based SBC in the world, aiming to provide “strong options, flexible form factors, industrial-grade durability, and availability till January 2036.”
Technical Specifications
The Raspberry Pi CM5 is a system-on-module (SoM) that includes a Broadcom BCM2712 quad-core Cortex-A76 ARM CPU running at 2.4 GHz. It can be combined with as much as 16 GB of LPDDR4x-4267 RAM. The CM5 can handle 30 GPIO signals and supports Vulkan 1.2 along with USB-C power delivery.
Zotac mentions that the CM5-PICO is housed in a passively cooled aluminum case, measuring 114.8 x 76 x 31 mm. It features two full-size HDMI ports that are capable of 4K output, Gigabit LAN, dual USB 3.2 ports, and a USB Type-C port.
Versatile Applications
Furthermore, the CM5-PICO board includes a 40-pin Raspberry Pi HAT header, RS232 header, dual CSI-2 camera interfaces, and a PWM fan header. It also comes with one Key-M 2280 and one Key-B 3024 PCIe module, enabling connections to NVMe SSDs, 4G/5G modems, and dedicated NPUs for AI inference.
The CM5-PICO is suitable for a range of uses, including kiosks, digital signage, industrial IoT gateways, edge AI inferencing, and computer vision, to name a few.
In addition to the CM5-PICO, Zotac will also display its new Edge AI portfolio, which consists of various innovative products.
