Xiaomi Reveals March 28 Debut of SU7 Electric Vehicle

Xiaomi introduced its inaugural electric vehicle, the SU7, in December of last year. While the company initially showcased the car’s characteristics and specifications, it has not yet initiated sales or disclosed pricing information. However, it appears that the wait for this information won’t be prolonged.

Xiaomi SU7 Launch Announcement

Today, Xiaomi has officially declared that it will unveil the Xiaomi SU7 in China on March 28. This announcement was made via a Weibo post, where it was also mentioned that interested individuals will have the opportunity to experience the Xiaomi SU7 starting from March 25.

Vehicle Reservations

Reservations for the SU7 have already begun in China, with 59 outlets spread across 29 cities in China participating in the reservation process.

Xiaomi SU7 Features and Variants

The Xiaomi SU7 belongs to the C-segment coupe category, featuring a sleek design and is available in two versions – a regular model and a Max variant.

The Max variant, true to its name, offers a plethora of top-tier features typical of a contemporary EV. It boasts a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system enabling acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds, with a remarkable top speed of 265 km/h.

On the other hand, the standard version is equally appealing, featuring a single-motor rear-wheel drive setup with a 0-100 km/h time of 5.28 seconds.

Interior and Technology

The interior of the Xiaomi SU7 showcases a "Smart Cockpit" equipped with a five-screen system, driven by a Snapdragon 8295 chip. The vehicle also incorporates a 16.1-inch 3K resolution main screen supporting CarPlay and AirPlay.

The cabin is adorned with sporty Nappa leather seats, ambient lighting, and a spacious 5.35 square meter glass roof. The audio system is top-notch, featuring a 25-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.
