Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus globally, about a month after its debut in India. This time, the company has added both 4G and 5G versions to its flagship Redmi Note 14 lineup, resulting in four new devices hitting the market.
New Accessories Released
Alongside the smartphone, Xiaomi has also introduced the Redmi Buds 6, Buds 6 Pro, and Watch 5 globally. You can find more details about each device through the provided hyperlinks. To summarize, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and features a solid 5,110 mAh battery that supports rapid 120 W wired charging. Furthermore, this new model replaces the previous year’s Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G (currently available for $324 on Amazon) and comes with upgraded camera capabilities.
Impressive Display and Build
The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, similar to the more affordable Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. For context, this expansive display has a resolution of 2,712 x 1,220 pixels, which Xiaomi markets as 1.5K, complemented by an impressive peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. However, it’s worth noting that this device has only received an IP68 certification for global markets, while in China, it is marketed with an IP69 rating.
Availability and Pricing Information
Starting today, customers can pre-order the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G, choosing between two memory configurations and three color options. However, while the device has been announced, it won’t be officially available for purchase until January 15. At launch, it will be offered in Frost Blue, Lavender Purple, and Midnight Black.
