Xiaomi is preparing to introduce the eagerly awaited Pad 7 Series, following the success of the Pad 6 lineup. This new series is anticipated to include two variants: the Xiaomi Pad 7 and the Pad 7 Pro. The Pro version has recently been spotted on China’s 3C certification and Singapore’s IMDA database. Now, tipster DCS (Digital Chat Station) has shared some significant information about these forthcoming tablets.
Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro Specifications
According to a recent Weibo post by DCS, the Xiaomi Pad 7 is set to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, an 11-inch 144Hz 3K LCD display, and a robust 10,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging capability.
Earlier leaks suggest that the Pad 7 Pro will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a 144Hz OLED display. The battery size and charging speed are expected to remain consistent with those of the standard Pad 7. Additionally, DSC mentioned that both tablets will launch with HyperOS 2.0, which is slated to be released alongside the Xiaomi 15 series.
Launch Timeline and Market Availability
These tablets were initially rumored to be released in the third quarter of 2024, but they are now expected to be launched in October along with the Xiaomi 15 series. The initial launch will occur in the Chinese market, with a wider global release anticipated later. Since the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has already passed Singapore’s IMDA certifications, it is evident that Xiaomi plans to offer these tablets internationally in the future.
