Xiaomi is all set to launch its new tablet series, the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro, worldwide. Recent approvals from several areas, including the SDPPI and BIS certifications, suggest that the international release is just around the corner. These tablets have also received clearance from the UAE’s TDRA certification.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro tablets were listed in the TDRA database with the model numbers 2410CRP4CG and 24091RPADG, respectively. It’s important to note that these models are Wi-Fi-only. The launch is anticipated to coincide with the release of the Xiaomi 15 series smartphones, one of which has recently gained certification from Thai authorities.

The specifications of both tablets are expected to mirror those of the models available in China. The Pad 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, which is a mid-range chipset providing good performance for daily tasks and some light gaming. In contrast, the Pad 7 Pro will feature the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Both tablets will come with an expansive 11.2-inch display that has a 3:2 aspect ratio and a high resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels. The displays will support a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz, ensuring smooth animations and scrolling. Moreover, they are certified to have low blue light emissions, which helps in reducing eye strain during prolonged use.
Camera Features
When it comes to photography, the Pad 7 Pro will be equipped with a 50MP main camera featuring a large 1/2.76-inch sensor and an f/1.8 aperture. This setup will allow for high-quality images and 4K video recording. Meanwhile, the Pad 7 will have a 13MP main camera, which comes with a 1/3.06-inch sensor and an f/2.2 aperture.
For video calls and selfies, both tablets will include high-resolution front cameras. The Pad 7 Pro will boast a 32MP sensor, while the Pad 7 will feature an 8MP sensor.
Battery and Connectivity
These tablets will be equipped with sizable batteries and will support fast charging technology. They will also come with advanced connectivity features like Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Both models will operate on Xiaomi’s newest custom Android interface, which is likely based on Android 14.
