Last month, Xiaomi introduced the Civi 4 Pro smartphone in China, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 2 processor. While there hasn't been any official word on a wider release, news has surfaced about the Xiaomi 14 SE making its way to the Indian market, potentially a rebadged version of the Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro.
Xiaomi 14 SE Launch in India
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Xiaomi 14 SE is set to debut in India in June 2024, with a price tag below ₹50,000. Speculations suggest it might simply be a rebranded Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro.
Previously, sources hinted at Xiaomi's intention to launch the CIVI 4 Pro as the Xiaomi 14 CIVI in India. However, the Xiaomi 14 SE could possibly be an entirely different offering. More clarification on this matter is expected in the upcoming weeks.
Specifications of Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro showcases a 6.55-inch curved AMOLED display featuring up to 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3000 nits of brightness. It sports a dual 32MP front camera and a Leica-optimized rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
Additionally, the CIVI 4 Pro houses a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, coupled with LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Noteworthy features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a metal frame, and the HyperOS-based Android 14 operating system.
