Gamers eager for a new Xbox controller won't have to wait much longer. Microsoft plans to release the Sky Cipher Special Edition controller in August 2024, with pre-orders kicking off on July 31st.
The Sky Cipher boasts a translucent blue design, drawing comparisons to the Forza Horizon 5 controller, and marks a shift from the usual black option. While detailed specs are still under wraps, early rumors indicate the controller will lack the highly anticipated haptic feedback feature found in the PS5’s DualSense. The price for this new controller starts at €69.99 (around $69.99 USD), a bit higher than the standard model.
New Gaming Bundle
This announcement follows the recent launch of the Fire TV Stick 4K & Xbox Controller gaming bundle.
