Vivo is gearing up to release a new addition to its Y-series smartphones. The forthcoming model, identified by the model number V2346, has been listed on the Google Play Console certification site. This listing also confirms the name of the device. Previously, the Vivo Y28s 5G appeared on Geekbench, BIS, and CQC. The latest update offers a glimpse into what the new smartphone will look like.
Vivo Y28s 5G on Google Play Console
According to the render placeholder on the Google Play Console certification, the Vivo Y28s 5G will feature a centrally-aligned punch-hole display with thick bezels. The back of the phone showcases a rectangular camera module with rounded corners. The device is shown in a Pink color with a gradient finish.
The Google Play Console listing reveals that the Vivo Y28s 5G will be equipped with a MediaTek MT6835 system on chip. This includes two A76 cores running at 2.2GHz and six A55 cores at 2GHz, paired with a Mali G57 GPU. This combination indicates that the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor. The upcoming model will come with 4GB of RAM, with more variants likely available at launch. It will operate on Android 14 OS.
Technical Specifications
According to the certification, the Vivo Y28s 5G will have a display resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels and a screen density of 300 dpi. This is all the information the Google Play Console provides about the device.
The Geekbench listing indicates that the Vivo Y28s 5G will also be available with 8GB of RAM. Additionally, the CQC certification notes support for 15W charging. The device has also been seen on NCC, which reveals it will have a 5,000mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It has secured NBTC certification as well.
Given the range of certifications it has acquired, the Vivo Y28s 5G is likely to be launched very soon.
