In October 2023, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, marking the introduction of the first smartphones powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset. Word on the street is that the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro, expected to launch in China this October, will be the pioneers in featuring the Dimensity 9400 chip. Recently, insider Digital Chat Station shared a sketch outlining the design updates for the Vivo X200.
Vivo X200 Sketch Unveiled
The sketch highlights the ZEISS logo centrally located on the camera module, confirming it as part of the X200 series. While the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro sported curved-edge OLED screens, rumors indicate that the X200 Pro will maintain this design, whereas the standard X200 might adopt a flat screen. Thus, the sketch seems to likely represent the Vivo X200.
Display and Design Details
Reports suggest the Vivo X200 will boast either a 6.4-inch or 6.5-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution capability. An earpiece is visible within the top bezel, just above the punch-hole display. The phone's right edge houses a volume rocker and a power button.
The back of the X200 showcases a circular camera module, complemented by a pill-shaped LED flash at the top-right corner. While the round module contains four rings, it's anticipated that the X200 will feature a triple camera setup, led by a custom-built 50-megapixel primary sensor. This setup is likely to include a periscope telephoto lens akin to its predecessor. The device is rumored to come with a 5,800mAh battery. Wireless charging is expected for both the X200 Pro and a smaller variant with a 6.3-inch screen, tentatively named the Vivo X200 Mini, although the X200 itself might not support wireless charging.
