The Vivo X200 series is about to launch globally. Vivo has started hinting at the release in Malaysia, but they haven't given a specific date yet.
Launch Date News
However, tipster Paras Gugalni on X (previously known as Twitter) posted an image that indicates the X200 series will be unveiled in Malaysia on November 19. That's just a few days away—next Tuesday—so we should expect Vivo to confirm this soon, maybe in a day or two. Moreover, the leak points out that Vivo plans to introduce its new flagship phones in Thailand on November 28.
No Pro Mini for Global Market
The Vivo X200 series consists of three models: the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro mini. Although some rumors suggested that the Pro Mini might be launched globally, particularly since the official teaser showed a unique green color for the Pro Mini in China, it appears that the Pro Mini will not be available outside of China.
In another update, tipster Paras Guglani revealed the global color choices for these devices. The standard X200 will come in Copper Green, along with Moonlight White, Cobalt Blue, and Carbon Black. Meanwhile, the X200 Pro will be available in Titanium Grey, Carbon Black, and Cobalt Blue.
Device Specifications
The Vivo X200 features a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The Pro version steps up with a slightly larger 6.78-inch display, maintaining similar specifications but adding an ultrasonic fingerprint reader below the display for enhanced security.
Both models are driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, combined with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The standard X200 has a triple-camera setup featuring three 50MP lenses for wide, ultrawide, and 3x zoom photography. The Pro model enhances the telephoto lens with a 200MP sensor, providing a longer 3.7x zoom for more detailed images.
Powering the X200 is a 5,800mAh battery, while the Pro model boasts a larger 6,000mAh battery. Both devices support 90W wired charging, and the Pro model adds 30W wireless charging for extra convenience.
