Vivo is anticipated to launch the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro in October this year. With the launch just a few months away, rumors are consistently leaking details about the X200 series. Recently, leaked images of what seem to be dummy units of the X200 surfaced on Weibo, displaying the phone's front and rear designs.
Vivo X200 Leaked Images
The leaked images of the Vivo X200’s dummy unit suggest that its design will largely resemble the Vivo X100 from last year. The Vivo X100 featured a 6.78-inch OLED panel with curved edges on both the right and left sides. The X200 appears to have a slightly flatter design, though the edges are microcurved.
Display and Design
Reports indicate that the Vivo X200 will feature a 6.4-inch or 6.5-inch OLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, an aspect ratio close to 19.5:9, and an in-screen optical fingerprint sensor.
On the rear, the Vivo X200 has a raised camera module with a vertical LED flash located at the top-right corner. According to reports, the X200 will sport a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Additionally, it is expected to include Vivo’s self-developed imaging chip for enhanced photography.
Hardware and Specifications
Images of the Vivo X200 also show that it features flat edges. Reports suggest it has a metal middle frame. At the bottom, the device includes a SIM slot, a microphone hole, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille.
The X200 is rumored to be powered by the upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset. However, details about its RAM and storage capacities have yet to be leaked. Regarding the battery, it is speculated to house a high-density battery, indicating a capacity larger than the X100’s 5,000mAh battery.
