Several reports indicate that Vivo is set to introduce the Vivo X100s and Vivo X100 Ultra smartphones in China this month. Prior to the official launch, an image circulating on Chinese social media platforms provides a glimpse of the design of both devices.
Design Details Revealed
The leaked poster suggests that the device on the left is the Vivo X100 Ultra, while the green-colored device on the right is likely the X100s. Both phones feature a Zeiss logo at the center of the circular camera module, although their camera setups vary. Each phone boasts three cameras, comprising a primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera.
Vivo X100s Specifications
Reports suggest that the Vivo X100s will inherit the camera setup from its predecessor, the Vivo X100, introduced in November last year. The X100s is anticipated to include a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
Differentiated Features
While the Vivo X100 flaunts a curved-edge display and houses the Dimensity 9300 chipset, rumors hint that the X100s will sport a flat display and the upcoming Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Apart from these changes, the rest of the specifications are expected to remain consistent with the X100.
Vivo X100 Ultra Expectations
On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Ultra is projected to offer a 6.78-inch AMOLED E7 2K 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and 80W wired charging. It is rumored that the X100 Ultra will feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a triple camera system comprising a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope camera with optical zoom capabilities. There is speculation that the device may potentially be named the Vivo X100s Ultra upon its official unveiling.
