Vivo is preparing for the launch of its newest entries in the X100 series in China, with the Vivo X100 Ultra leading the lineup. This upcoming device is rumored to boast remarkable camera features.
Camera Capabilities Unveiled
Huang Tao, Vivo’s Product Vice President, recently shared initial camera samples of the X100 Ultra on Weibo. These images showcase China’s Chang’e-6 lunar probe, which set out on its exploration mission to the far side of the moon on May 3rd.
Impressive Camera Specifications
While details remain limited, it is likely that these images were captured using the phone’s telephoto camera with a certain level of zoom. According to Digital Chat Station, a tech insider, these shots are believed to be 10x zoomed. The post also highlighted the telephoto camera's specifications, mentioning a 200-megapixel sensor, purportedly the largest in the industry, with a size of 1/1.4 inches.
Advanced Features and Display
Additionally, the camera is expected to feature a wide f/2.67 aperture, a 22.48mm physical focal length, and a "high pixel mode" capable of delivering images at an impressive resolution of 12888 x 16320. The device is anticipated to offer a 100x digital zoom function and a "telephoto macro hybrid algorithm" for capturing detailed close-up shots using the telephoto lens.
In terms of display, reports indicate that the Vivo X100 Ultra will come equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED E7 display boasting a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, offer up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and support for 80W fast charging.
