This year, new phones like the iQOO Neo 9S Pro, Oppo Reno 12 series, Honor 200 lineup, and Vivo S19 series are set to launch just in time for the festival. Recently, Vivo Vice President Huang Tao announced on Weibo that a budget-friendly version of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be released during the 618 promotion.
Vivo X Fold 3 Pro coming soon in 12GB+256GB variant
Since its launch, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has captured 39 percent of the market share, with many former Apple users switching to this foldable screen phone. It has received widespread consumer acclaim, boasting a 72% recommendation rate, making it the most popular product in the X series over the past two years.
To meet the increasing demand for foldable screen phones, Vivo will introduce a new 12GB+256GB version of the X Fold 3 Pro during the 618 promotion, starting at 6,999 Yuan (~$970). Tao mentioned that this move aims to make foldable flagship phones more accessible, allowing more people to enjoy their practical and user-friendly features. Additionally, Vivo will offer 24-month interest-free installment plans, with daily payments as low as 9.7 yuan, making it easier for consumers to own this high-end foldable phone. Vivo will also provide trade-in subsidies up to 1,400 yuan, with some models eligible for a 0 yuan exchange, offering consumers more options.
Specifications and Pricing
Currently, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is the only foldable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 available on the market. In China, it is available in two configurations: 16GB+512GB priced at 9,999 Yuan ($1,380) and 16GB+1TB for 10,999 Yuan ($1,520). The phone comes in black and white shades.
