A new smartphone from Vivo, identified by the model number V2427 and likely to be named the Vivo V50, has gained certification in several regions, such as India and Thailand, among others. Recently, it also got the nod from Taiwan’s NCC regulatory body. The certification includes various images of the phone along with its important features.
Color Options and Design
According to the NCC listing (reported by 91Mobiles), the device will be available in three color variants: white, blue, and gray. Its design appears to closely resemble the Vivo S20, which was released in China earlier. Vivo often renames its S series phones as V series for international sales. Thus, it’s quite possible that the Vivo V50 will have many features in common with the Vivo S20.
Memory and Battery Details
The certification indicates that the phone will come in two memory options: 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB. Additionally, it will boast a 6,000mAh battery and support for 90W fast charging. The device is reported to operate on Funtouch OS 15, which is built on the Android 15 platform.
Connectivity Features
As for connectivity, the Vivo V50 will include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS. With the phone having received certifications in various countries, it suggests that a launch is on the horizon.
