Vivo V40 Listed on Bureau of Indian Standards, Launch Imminent

Vivo is gearing up to introduce its newest smartphone, the Vivo V40, to the Indian market. Following its global debut, which notably did not include a charger in the packaging, the Indian variant appears to maintain this pattern. The device, identified by the model number “V2348,” has been listed on the Indian BIS certification site, with approval received on June 21, 2024.

Vivo V40 (Global) Specifications

The specifications for the Indian version of the Vivo V40 are anticipated to be identical to those of the global model. The phone is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that boasts a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1260). It is available in two color options: Stella Silver and Nebula Purple.

Camera and Performance

The Vivo V40 features a dual-camera setup, comprising a 50MP f/1.9 primary camera and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle camera, ensuring superior photo and video quality. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, offering strong performance capabilities. It comes in two variants: one with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM paired with 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and another with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM coupled with 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Battery and Charging

The smartphone includes a 5500 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, ensuring quick power-ups and extended usage.
