The OnePlus 12 series is set to have a global launch soon, with the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R expected to be unveiled later this month. However, before the official announcement, both flagship smartphones have been spotted on certification platforms, revealing some details about the devices.
OnePlus 12R, also known as the Ace 3 model in the Chinese market, was found on the TDRA certification platform. On the other hand, the OnePlus 12 was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. The OnePlus 12R carries the model number CPH2609, while the OnePlus 12 is listed with the model number CPH2583. Unfortunately, the online listings did not provide any specific information about the specifications or pricing of the devices.
However, the Bluetooth SIG listing did confirm that the OnePlus 12 will support the latest Bluetooth 5.4 technology. As a reminder, the OnePlus 12 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the OnePlus 12R is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
In terms of display, the OnePlus 12R features a tall 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. Similarly, the OnePlus 12 comes with a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel that also offers a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as Dolby Vision and HDR10+ capabilities. Both models feature a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50-megapixel main camera.
When it comes to battery capacity, the OnePlus 12R packs a 5,500mAh battery, while the OnePlus 12 offers a slightly smaller 5,400mAh battery. Both devices support 100W fast charging for quick and convenient charging.
