Interestingly, on the same day, OnePlus’ parent company, Oppo, launched a similar magnetic power bank featuring the same specifications. Zens Wireless Charger Turns Socket into Qi2 Charger with USB-C
The new Qi2 charger by Zens is designed for users who lack the space for a charging pad and also prefer to avoid charging cables. This charger positions the Qi2 charging coil directly in front of your socket and is small enough to not obstruct adjacent sockets.
Compatibility and Charging Power
This device can magnetically hold Qi2-compatible gadgets and provide wireless charging at a maximum of 15 watts. As of now, only Apple iPhones starting from the iPhone 12 and the HMD Skyline are officially recognized as compatible with Qi2. Android phones that support Qi and are available with MagSafe cases, like the Google Pixel 9 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S24, can be charged too, but they will only receive 7.5 watts, which is the limit of the first-generation Qi standard.
Dual Charging Feature
An interesting feature is that the USB-C port is placed on the bottom of the Qi2 charger. This allows charging of devices through a cable at a power of up to 18 watts. Thus, you can charge two devices simultaneously without needing an additional charger. The charger is available in both white and black colors. Zens also points out that wireless charging is effective even when the smartphone is inside a case, provided the case is compatible with MagSafe or Qi2 and doesn’t exceed 3 millimeters in thickness.

The EU version of the Zens Qi2 Wireless Charging Adapter is currently up for pre-order at the manufacturer’s online store for €49.99, with shipping expected to start on November 7.

Oppo Find X8 Specifications Revealed by Official Company Source
It appears we no longer have to depend on leaks to uncover details about the Oppo Find X8 series. Just a day after highlighting new software features, Zhou Yibao, the head of the Oppo Find series, has returned with an extensive list of important specifications for the standard Find X8.

Zhou mentioned that the device will feature a flat display with slim bezels that are evenly sized on all sides, secured by a metal frame. The design is expected to be noticeably thinner and lighter compared to the previous model. While exact dimensions were not disclosed, it was stated that the phone will have a thickness of approximately 7mm and will weigh under 200 grams, starting with a weight prefix of 1. This design will provide what Zhou refers to as a “golden-size feel.”
Oppo Find X8 Design
The rear camera bump will also be reduced in size compared to its predecessor, featuring a periscope telephoto lens. Furthermore, the phone has been confirmed to include both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Zhou also shared insights about the Find X8’s wireless charging features, confirming that it will support 50W wireless charging along with reverse charging functionality. Additionally, the phone will have magnetic charging support similar to Apple’s MagSafe. Zhou released a video demonstrating a 5000mAh magnetic power bank charging the device at 50W, and he assured users that a compatible magnetic protective case will be included in the package.
Additional Features
Other classic features such as infrared remote control, smart NFC, and a three-stage mute button will also be part of the Find X8’s specifications. Reports suggest that the Find X8 will have a more compact design compared to the Pro version. The device is likely to include a triple-camera setup, while the Pro model could feature a more advanced quad-camera system with dual periscope telephoto lenses. Why Pixel 9 Pro Fold Won’t Charge on Pixel Stand
The Google Pixel Stand and Pixel Stand 2 serve as excellent wireless chargers for many Pixel users, except for those who have the latest Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Google has now provided a diagram explaining why the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is incompatible with these chargers.
The wireless charging coil inside the Pixel 9 Pro Fold isn’t precisely centered, unlike most other phones that support wireless charging, including previous Pixel models. As depicted in the image below, this misalignment is the primary issue.
Charging Coil Alignment Issues
Google’s wireless charging method uses a stand, unlike a pad where you can freely adjust the phone’s position. This design makes it impossible to align the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s charging coil properly, hence why it doesn’t charge with the Pixel Stand or Pixel Stand 2.
Compatibility with Other Chargers
Despite this, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is compatible with many other wireless chargers on the market. Google advises users to adjust their phone’s position on alternative chargers to ensure proper charging. To verify alignment, users are encouraged to check their phone’s charging indicator.
Design Changes and User Concerns
The repositioning of the wireless charging coil might be due to an updated camera placement in the Pixel 9 Pro Fold compared to its predecessor. Regardless of the reason, it’s unfortunate that Google didn’t maintain the coil’s position to ensure compatibility with the Pixel Stand 2. This oversight forces Pixel 9 Pro Fold users, who already own a Pixel Stand, to purchase a different wireless charger for their new device.
We hope Google resolves this alignment issue in future iterations of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Xiaomi 14T Launch Nears: Listed on NBTC and Camera FV-5 Database
Xiaomi is gearing up for the release of the Xiaomi 14T series. Recently, the global version of the Xiaomi 14T Pro was spotted in Thailand’s NBTC certification database, offering insights into the upcoming phone’s features.
The NBTC certification lists the model number (2407FPN8EG) and confirms the phone’s name as Xiaomi 14T Pro. It also indicates support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR connectivity.
Camera Specifications
According to the Camera FV-5 database, the primary rear camera will have an f/1.6 aperture, 12.6MP pixel binning, and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This suggests a 50MP main sensor through pixel binning. The front camera is likely to feature an f/2.0 aperture and capture 8.1MP pixel-binned images. Leica co-branding could also be present, similar to Xiaomi’s flagship models.
Processor and Features
The Xiaomi 14T Pro is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor built on a 4nm process. The SoC includes one Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.25GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores at 2.85GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0GHz, and a Mali-G720 Immortalis MP12 GPU.
Notably, the 14T series is anticipated to be the first in Xiaomi’s T series to support wireless charging. Previous reports mentioned that the series will feature displays from Tianma.
Differentiation and Launch
Typically, Xiaomi differentiates the standard and Pro models of the T series through the processor. The 13T and 13T Pro models had similar cameras and battery capacities, a trend expected to continue with the 14T series.
The Xiaomi 14T series is projected to launch in August or September. However, there is some uncertainty regarding its release in India, as Xiaomi did not launch the 12T and 13T series in the country.
