Pixel 9 Lineup Leaked: Everything You Need to Know
Up till now, information about the Pixel 9 series has leaked extensively. However, today’s leak is the most significant, as trusted tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka Onleaks) has shared the official promotional material that unveils everything from design to specifications to AI features. The lineup includes the standard, pro, and fold models, which have already been confirmed by Google. The tech giant is set to reveal its next-generation Pixel devices on August 13.
Google Pixel 9 series revealed in major leak
The upcoming Pixel 9 lineup will consist of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. According to the report, the Pro variant will be available in two screen size options, suggesting that the larger display could be named the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The entire lineup is anticipated to come in Dark Grey, Light Grey, Off-White (Porcelain), and Pink, although these may not be the official marketing names.
Starting with the slab phones, the marketing material mentions polished edges, indicating a glossy flat frame and a soft matte back panel. Google has reduced the horizontal camera bar on the back panel of the Pixel 9 series. It no longer spans from one edge to the other, although the protrusion remains noticeable. The camera sensors are contained within a pill-shaped cutout. The Pro models also feature a temperature sensor.
Camera Specifications
Regarding the optics, the leaked material reveals that the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will sport 50MP main and 48MP ultra-wide-angle lenses. The latter is an upgrade from the 12MP sensor on the standard variant. The Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL are also expected to feature a 48MP periscope telephoto unit, as previously speculated. The standard model will maintain a 10.5MP front camera, while the pro variants will have a 42MP sensor.
The Pixel 9 will boast a 6.3-inch Actua display, while the Pixel 9 Pro will also have the same screen size, along with an additional 6.9-inch display variant.
Pixel 9 Pro Fold Details
As for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, it features a rectangular-shaped camera module with rounded corners. It is said to include the same 6.3-inch Actua screen on the front as the non-folding Pixel 9. The inner display will reportedly be 8 inches and will use a Super Actua Flex panel. The triple rear camera setup is expected to include a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 10.8MP telephoto sensor. There will also be a 10MP front camera.
On the hardware side, the entire Pixel 9 lineup will be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset. The standard variant will come with 12GB of RAM, while the Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold will offer up to 16GB.
Pixel 9 AI features leaked
Similar to last year, Google will provide seven years of updates for the entire Pixel 9 series. The devices will feature Emergency SOS to alert you in case of a crisis and are also designed to counter malware and phishing scams. Google states that the devices are engineered and designed for AI. The new models will come with Gemini AI and Circle to Search. Additionally, the Pixel 9 series will include Pixel Screenshots, which will save information for future reference.

The image background conversion feature allows users to upload pictures to XiaoAI and modify background elements. This function has been available on older Xiaomi phones, which could change the sky and overall lighting effects of images. However, the latest update promises improved results.

Foxconn Boosts Hiring for iPhone 16 Launch in China
Foxconn, Apple’s primary supplier, is intensifying its recruitment efforts in anticipation of the eagerly awaited AI-enabled iPhone 16, set to launch this autumn. With expectations of high demand due to the iPhone 16's new AI capabilities, Apple is striving to align its production to meet these forecasts.
Foxconn is providing competitive hourly wages and bonuses to attract workers. In Zhengzhou, the hourly wage is 25 yuan (US$3.44), and returning workers can receive bonuses up to 7,500 yuan, a rise from the 6,000 yuan bonus offered a month earlier. Local labor agencies are actively promoting these lucrative positions for temporary and returning employees.
In Shenzhen, Foxconn is similarly increasing its workforce. Temporary workers are being offered an hourly wage of 21-22 yuan, while returning permanent employees can earn up to 6,000 yuan monthly for the first three months, with the possibility of pay increases for extended stays.
iPhone 16 Features and Expectations
