    Crucially, the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 utilize chips from TSMC’s 4N manufacturing process (within the 5 nm node family), while the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 were made using an 8 nm process from Samsung (which was developed from 10 nm technology).
