    Aurzen Zip: World’s First Pocket-Sized Tri-Fold Projector

At CES 2025, Aurzen unveiled the Aurzen Zip, a groundbreaking tri-fold portable projector that is now the first of its kind in the world. This projector blends cutting-edge technology with exceptional portability, creating a new benchmark for other portable projectors.

    Design and Features

The Aurzen Zip boasts a clever tri-fold design that ensures it’s both compact and lightweight, measuring a mere 3.31 x 3.07 x 1.02 inches (84 x 78 x 26mm) and tipping the scales at just 9.88 ounces (280 grams). It incorporates the thinnest 8mm high-definition optical engine available and an ultra-compact DLP microchip within its first fold.

In the second fold, you’ll find dual sturdy aluminum hinges and stereo speakers, while the third fold features a non-slip base as well as a built-in battery. This Z-shaped design eliminates the requirement for external tripods, allowing for an easy setup in any location.

    Connectivity and Technology

One of the standout features of the Zip is its one-tap screen mirroring capability that functions without needing Wi-Fi, making connection with devices running iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows a breeze. For enhanced versatility, it offers an optional CastPlay dongle to support HDMI devices like gaming consoles and TV boxes.

Aurzen has also included ToF zero-lag autofocus tech, which enables the projector to focus instantly and correct vertical keystone distortion by measuring distances 30 times in a second. Furthermore, its built-in gyroscope allows the projector to easily adjust to both horizontal and vertical positions, making it ideal for displaying mobile content from apps like TikTok and Instagram in full-screen mode without borders.

    Performance and Availability

Even with its small size, the Zip provides a native resolution of 720p, boasts 100 ANSI lumens brightness, and supports 4K playback. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery which allows for 1.5 hours of use on a single charge and features 24W fast charging via USB-C, ensuring quick recharges.

The projector is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter, with an early-bird price starting at $249, significantly lower than its retail cost of $399. The expected shipping date is March 2025.

  • Genki Confirms CES 2025 Nintendo Switch 2 Mockup Came from Leaks

Genki Confirms CES 2025 Nintendo Switch 2 Mockup Came from Leaks

Genki, a gaming accessory company from the US, recently caught attention by presenting a mockup of the Nintendo Switch 2 at CES 2025, claiming it was inspired by the actual device. The company proudly stated that it had insider knowledge of the original handheld. However, Genki has since retracted these statements made during the event.

    Admission of Fault

In a chat with the Japanese gaming website GameSpark on January 10, a Genki representative confessed that no one in the firm had actually laid eyes on the genuine device. The mockup and all the information shared at CES 2025 were actually based on industry leaks rather than firsthand experience.

This revelation came soon after Nintendo informed CNET Japan that it had not provided Genki with any early access to the new handheld. Genki isn’t alone in making such bold statements; many other accessory producers have also claimed insider knowledge. Recently, numerous leaks regarding Switch 2 accessories have emerged, some from sources echoing similar claims.

    The Mockup’s Validity

It’s important to highlight that while Genki may have overstated the authenticity of its Nintendo Switch 2 mockup, this doesn’t mean it bears no resemblance to the actual device. According to the company, the mockup was indeed inspired by industry leaks, and several features align with previous reports.

For instance, the enigmatic “C” button is shown on the mockup, along with a U-shaped kickstand. However, it’s worth noting that there’s no assurance that those earlier reports were correct. One thing is for sure, though: the Switch 2 is on the way, with Nintendo expected to make an announcement by March 2025.

  • Intel Unveils Lunar Lake Tencent 3D Gaming Handheld at CES 2025

Intel Unveils Lunar Lake Tencent 3D Gaming Handheld at CES 2025

Intel and Tencent have teamed up to create an exciting handheld gaming device that offers glasses-free 3D experiences. This gadget was first revealed in China in November last year and had its full reveal at CES 2025. As mentioned in the first announcement, this device is quite large.

    Notable Features

Specifically, the Tencent 3D gaming handheld features an 11-inch display. This makes the Sunday Dragon bigger than the Legion Go, which is already considered quite large with its 8.8-inch screen. However, unlike typical handheld displays, the Sunday Dragon’s screen utilizes “naked-eye 3D” technology along with an “image interlacing algorithm.”

This means the 120Hz display can provide “naked-eye 3D visual effects.” During the initial announcement, the company indicated that the device is optimized for various PC games, including Blade & Soul, Path of Exile, and Arena Breakout: Infinite. It remains uncertain if there have been any additional advancements in this area.

    Design and Functionality

In a similar fashion to the Lenovo Legion Go, the joy cons of the Tencent Sunday Dragon are detachable. It also includes a built-in kickstand at the back, allowing users to place the device on a flat surface easily.

Regarding specifications, the Tencent 3D gaming handheld is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor. This is one of the high-end options from the Lunar Lake series and comes with the Arc 140V iGPU, positioning it as a strong competitor against the MSI Claw 8 AI+ and the upcoming Ryzen Z2 Extreme handhelds.

    Availability and Pricing

As of now, there’s no information on when the Tencent Sunday Dragon will be available for purchase, and Intel has not revealed any pricing details either. Nevertheless, since it was showcased at CES 2025, it’s likely that it will hit the global market soon (Z1 Extreme ROG Ally curr. $499.99 on Best Buy).

  • Nintendo Switch 2 Release Window and Launch Titles Leak

Nintendo Switch 2 Release Window and Launch Titles Leak

This year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has been happening all week long. Many new devices have been shown off at CES 2025, but the buzz about Nintendo’s upcoming console keeps growing. This excitement was partly fueled by Genki, which showcased various accessories called ‘NS2’ that were specifically made for the Switch 2.

    Leaks and Speculation

Not long after, a popular leaker shared images of the console, which got even more attention when a Gamestop employee hinted at possible microSD Express support in another leak. Then, a member of Famiboards posted what they claimed was a picture of a working unit, which we have included above. This led to discussions among other members about the details visible in the image, particularly concerning the size of the console’s display bezels:

If we assume the bezels are even, the screen height would likely be between 100-102 mm. By applying the aspect ratio for a 1080p display, we could estimate the width to be around 178-181 mm.

    Display Size Insights

If these estimates hold true, the Switch 2 might have an 8 to 8.2-inch display, rather than the approximately 8.4-inch panel suggested by @OnLeaks just yesterday. Meanwhile, the r/NintendoSwitch2 subreddit has been buzzing with new theories from Average Lucia Fanatic, known for their accurate predictions about the PlayStation 5 Pro (currently priced at $699 on Amazon) before its launch.

We advise caution regarding the details shown in the image below for the time being. For example, while it may seem plausible that Mario Kart 9 could be a launch title based on Nintendo’s history, suggesting a seven-year-old AAA game as a second option feels unlikely. Additionally, the conversion of CA$400 to about $280 would make it cheaper than the Switch OLED in the US. Ultimately, we will discover whether any of these initial claims are true in just one week’s time.

CES 2025: Piex AI Launches PieX Pendant for Emotion Tracking

Piex AI has introduced their new Piex Pendant, a device designed to track emotions, at CES 2025. Specifics and technical details are still unclear, but the aim of the Pendant is to assist users in enhancing their emotional health through its functionalities.

    Technology Behind the Pendant

The visuals presented for the Pendant indicate its capability to monitor the wearer’s current emotional state, heart rate, and other important vital signs using mmWave radar, which operates in a frequency range between 30 GHz and 300 GHz. This radar technology can sense movements, like the heart beating, even through skin and other tissues. Nonetheless, how exactly this is accomplished remains undisclosed.

    Features and Capabilities

Once the Pendant gathers the necessary data, it can activate the sympathetic nervous system to help soothe the user during emotionally charged moments. Reportedly, the internal battery can last a long time, possibly providing enough power for all-day usage before needing a recharge.

The AI assistant on the user’s smartphone collects all this information and offers mental health coaching aimed at improving the user’s emotional state. The Piex Pendant is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2025, and individuals can register on the Piex AI website for the latest updates.
