Xiaomi Redmi Pad Gets Price Cut in India

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Pad in October last year, offering it in three different RAM and storage configurations. Positioned as a budget tablet in the Rs 15,000 – 20,000 price segment, the Redmi Pad has now received a price cut after a year since its launch. The revised prices are now reflected on Xiaomi’s official website and Flipkart, making it an even more attractive option for buyers. Additionally, there is also a bank offer available that can further reduce the purchase price of the tablet.

    Redmi Pad Price Reduction

The Redmi Pad is available in three RAM and storage options: 3GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB. Previously, these variants were priced at Rs 14,999, Rs 17,999, and Rs 19,999 respectively. However, the base option has received a price cut of Rs 1,000, while the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants are now cheaper by Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively. As a result, the Redmi Pad models now cost Rs 13,999, Rs 14,999, and Rs 16,999 respectively.

    Bank Offer and Exchange Option

In addition to the price reduction, Xiaomi is also offering an instant discount on the Redmi Pad. Customers using HDFC Bank credit card and EMI or ICICI net banking transactions can avail a Rs 1,000 discount on the base model, bringing the price down to Rs 12,999. Similarly, for the 4GB and 6GB options, there is a Rs 1,500 instant discount, making the prices Rs 13,499 and Rs 15,499 respectively. It’s important to note that this bank offer is valid until December 31.

Furthermore, interested buyers can also take advantage of the smartphone exchange program while purchasing the Redmi Pad. This allows users to exchange their old smartphones for a discount on the tablet.

    Impressive Specifications

Moving on to the specifications, the Redmi Pad boasts a 10.6-inch 2K display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 400 nits. It features 8MP front and rear cameras, ensuring decent photography capabilities. The tablet is equipped with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, delivering an immersive audio experience. Powered by a Helio G99 SoC, the Redmi Pad is backed by an 8,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting usage.

With the recent price cut and attractive specifications, the Redmi Pad offers great value for money in the budget tablet segment. Whether you’re looking for a device for work, entertainment, or both, the Redmi Pad is definitely worth considering.
