The Sony ULT FIELD 1 heavy bass portable Bluetooth speaker has been introduced in China and is now available for pre-order. It boasts IP67 dust and water-resistant capabilities.

The Sony ULT FIELD 1 stands out as a portable Bluetooth speaker delivering powerful bass. It is available in four colors: beige, black, forest gray, and orange. The speaker features an adjustable and detachable lanyard.
The design incorporates a dual-unit system where the mid-bass and high-frequency units handle different frequency ranges, providing smooth and natural sound, as stated by Sony. The speaker also benefits from Sony’s proprietary DSP tuning, which boosts the low-frequency output while ensuring clear vocal clarity. It can play for up to 12 hours at 50% volume and with ULT mode activated.
The speaker measures 224 x 104 x 101mm and weighs 810g, including packaging. The mid-low frequency unit measures 83 x 42mm, and the high-frequency unit has a diameter of 16mm. These units deliver power outputs of 20W and 10W, respectively. Users can customize the EQ settings through Sony’s Music Center App, which also supports Adapter Stereo mode.
Advanced Functionality
A ULT mode button on the Bluetooth speaker enhances low frequencies and the sound field with just one click. The speaker is not only IP67 dust and water-resistant but also resistant to rust and shock. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and two ULT FIELD 1 units can be paired for stereo sound. Additionally, the built-in microphone reduces echo during calls, enhancing call quality.
