Eight IKEA items, mostly not yet available to the public, have recently gained Matter certification. The popular Swedish furniture company revealed in July 2025 that they were working on additional smart home products. Now, some of these gadgets have appeared in the Distributed Compliance Ledger (DCL), confirming their certification under Matter.
Upgraded Models
A number of these fresh IKEA smart home devices appear to be enhancements of current versions. The Myggspray Wireless motion sensor looks to replace the Vallhorn Wireless motion sensor, while the Klippbok Water leak sensor could take the place of the Badring Water leak sensor. Additionally, the Myggbett Door/window sensor might serve as a substitute for the Parasoll Door and window sensor.
New Offerings
There’s a new Alpstuga air quality monitor that seems to be an improved iteration of the Vindstyrka Air quality sensor. Another entry is the Timmerflotte temperature and humidity sensor. Moreover, two Bilresa smart switches have been spotted in the DCL: one with a scroll wheel and the other featuring dual buttons, which had been rumored earlier this year. Lastly, the Dirigera smart home hub, which was launched in 2022, is also included in the listings.
Expected Launch Dates
These latest IKEA products that are compatible with Matter are anticipated to debut next year. In total, there will be 20 new devices, with the first set scheduled to arrive in January 2026, followed by more in April 2026.
