Red Magic has just updated its flagship gaming smartphone lineup with the launch of the Red Magic 9S Pro, which is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading version. It appears that the brand has similar plans for its gaming tablet. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, Red Magic is developing its second-generation Red Magic Gaming tablet, which will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading version processor.
Expected Launch and Features
The tipster indicates that the tablet is expected to be released around the end of August 2024. Unlike the current trend of large-screen tablets, the new Red Magic Gaming tablet is anticipated to have a smaller screen. To provide some context, the first-generation tablet, which was released in July 2023, came with a 12.1-inch LCD panel boasting a 2.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The upcoming model is likely to continue with a flat and boxy design.
Additional Specifications
While further details about the new tablet are still under wraps, it is expected to include a strong cooling system, a large battery, and fast charging capabilities. The first-generation tablet, for instance, features a 10,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.
Stay tuned for more updates as we await the official announcement and additional details about the second-generation Red Magic Gaming tablet.
