Samsung has introduced its WindFree Air Conditioners in the Chilled Water Indoor category in India. These units are engineered to offer an exceptional cooling experience without the discomfort of direct cold drafts.
The chilled water cassette units let users set their preferred temperature, and the WindFree technology disperses cool air softly through up to 15,000 micro-air holes at a wind speed of 0.15 m/sec, according to Samsung. The advanced airflow system cools rooms more rapidly while maintaining quiet operation, with a noise level as low as 24 dB(A), comparable to a whisper. This makes it ideal for spaces such as bedrooms, studies, and baby rooms.
Advanced Cooling Mechanism
WindFree ACs are connected to a central chilled water system via water pipes and valves. These hydronic fan coil units circulate hot or cold water through coils to regulate the temperature of large spaces and are compatible with Samsung air-cooled chillers or any third-party air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.

Samsung offers three variants of the Chilled Water Fan Coil units. The 1 Way Cassette (2.6KW~4.2KW) is designed to cool large areas efficiently with its auto swing feature. Its large blade covers a wider area, and the auto-swing function distributes air in multiple directions. It has a slim design with a height of only 135mm, fitting into small ceiling spaces of just 155mm.

The 4-Way Cassette (6.0KW~10.0KW) provides superior cooling with a large blade design that directs air precisely to specific spots, preventing unwanted air dispersion.
Samsung Chilled Water Fan Coil AC – 360° Chilled Water Cassette
The 360° Chilled Water Cassette (6.0KW~10.0KW) boasts an innovative circular design that fits modern architectural interiors, distributing air evenly in all directions without cold drafts. With no blades to obstruct the airflow, it expels up to 25 percent more air and spreads it further.
These three variants of Samsung's chilled water fan coil units can be purchased through Samsung’s network of registered offline partners across India, starting at Rs 35,000 for the smallest capacity unit.
