Samsung has announced its new TV lineup for 2024, which includes Neo QLED, OLED, and Micro LED TVs. One of the standout features is the Neo QLED series, powered by the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor.
Neo QLED TVs 2024 Specifications
The Neo QLED lineup offers both 4K and 8K TVs. The Neo QLED 8K TVs have a sleek design with a thickness of just 12.9mm, known as the Infinity Air Design. This design not only provides exceptional picture quality but also creates a unique mirror effect, giving the impression that the TV is floating.
The Neo QLED 8K TV comes with the 8K AI Upscaling Pro Super-Resolution technology, made possible by the NQ8 AI Gen3. This technology can enhance low-resolution content to ultra-high definition, ensuring clear display even for standard definition material.
Another notable feature is the AI Motion Enhancer Pro, which is particularly useful for high-resolution sports broadcasts. It uses a deep-learning model for motion detection and enhancement, addressing issues like ball distortion.
The Real Depth Enhancer Pro is an innovative feature that uses AI to control mini LEDs, adding depth and detail to fast-moving scenes. This creates a more three-dimensional and lifelike viewing experience by focusing on specific parts of the scene.
In terms of audio, Samsung introduces the 2024 Q-Symphony, which allows for the connection of multiple wireless speakers and soundbars, achieving perfect audio synchronization. The Active Voice Amplifier Pro enhances on-screen dialogue and sound using AI technology to separate and amplify voice input from mixed audio.
The Neo QLED TVs will come with the 2024 version of Tizen OS, which includes various enhancements like Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub accessories, Mobile Smart Connect, Multi Control, improved Samsung TV Plus, Vibrary, and 360 Audio.
Pre-Orders and Availability
Pre-orders for the Chinese version of Samsung's Neo QLED 8K TV are currently open. The initial pre-order window runs from January 3rd to January 18th. A second pre-order phase will begin in March, and customers who pre-order and purchase the TV during the launch event will receive a Tencent Video SVIP annual card as a bonus.
