Samsung recently unveiled a range of new products at the second Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris, featuring the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Galaxy Buds 3 series, and the Galaxy Watch 7 series. Within the Galaxy Watch 7 series, there are two models: the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Advanced AI in Galaxy Watch 7 for Sleep Analysis
The Galaxy Watch 7 is engineered to help users gain a comprehensive understanding of their health and fitness. Its fitness tracking capabilities allow users to plan complete exercise routines, including warm-up and rest periods, and refer to past performance records for motivation. Users can track over 100 different workouts and create customized routines using the Workout Routine feature.
The watch is equipped with advanced AI algorithms for sleep analysis and includes a De Novo FDA-authorized Sleep Apnea feature, offering a proactive tool to identify potential signs of sleep apnea.
Health Tracking Features
The Galaxy Watch 7 also boasts several health tracking features, such as heart rate monitoring, ECG, body composition measurement, menstrual cycle tracking, and fall detection. One of the standout features is the energy score, which helps users understand their productivity levels and schedule tasks more effectively. The watch also supports a voice-to-text feature for instant summaries.
Available in both Bluetooth and LTE versions, the Bluetooth model comes in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm, while the LTE model is available with a 44mm dial. Color options include Yunling Green, Phantom Silver, and Cloud White.
Enhanced Performance and Specifications
The Galaxy Watch 7 is powered by a new 3nm penta-core processor, offering enhanced performance and energy efficiency. It features Samsung BioActive biosensors and Galaxy AI. The BioActive biosensor, equipped with 13 LED lights, accurately monitors health data such as heart rate and sleep patterns. Additionally, the watch comes with L1 + L5 dual-frequency GPS.
Battery capacities differ between sizes, with the 40mm model featuring a 300mAh battery and the 44mm model housing a larger 425mAh battery.
