The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is imminent, with the company recently announcing the Unpacked event date. If you haven’t heard, the next-generation flagship smartphones will debut on January 22. Ahead of this exciting launch, the official wallpapers for the series have surfaced online.
Wallpaper Leak Details
This information comes from well-known tipster Max Jambor, who tweeted about the wallpapers featuring a unique S design. These wallpapers are similar to those seen in recent render leaks of the Galaxy S25 series, and the S pattern clearly pays tribute to the Galaxy S branding.
Specs of the Galaxy S25 Ultra
In addition to the wallpaper news, another reliable leaker, Ronald Quandt, has confirmed the main specifications of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. According to previous leaks, Ronald notes that the flagship model will come equipped with a Dynamic LTPO display. This AMOLED screen is expected to have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and reach a maximum brightness of 2600 nits.
Configurations and Charging Information
Ronald also mentions that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will come in three configurations in Europe. The report indicates that the two higher configurations will offer a RAM upgrade, which earlier reports had hinted at. Specifically, the 512 GB and 1 TB options are likely to include 16 GB of RAM instead of the 12 GB found in the base model.
Additional information shared by Ronald includes the charging speed and physical dimensions. It is reported that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will support 45 W wired charging (87 W Anker power bank currently priced at $44.99 on Amazon), similar to its predecessor, and will include 25 W wireless charging with Qi2 support, which is an improvement. The device is also said to measure 8.2 mm in thickness and weigh 219 grams, both of which represent solid upgrades compared to the previous generation.
