Leaked renders, reportedly from a Korean retailer, have surfaced online, offering another glimpse at Samsung's next generation Galaxy Buds. These renders depict earbuds with a design language that marks a departure from Samsung’s past offerings, such as the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and FE, which featured a rounder, stemless design.
Samsung's New Design Approach
The leaked images showcase buds with stems, vents, and even a charging case reminiscent of AirPods. This aligns with a previous leak that showed the retail box of the earbuds. While the overall design borrows inspiration from Apple, Samsung incorporates a metallic silver color scheme and slightly sharper angles to distinguish its earbuds.
Two Variants in the Works
The leak suggests Samsung is developing two versions of the Galaxy Buds 3: a standard model and a Pro variant. Both are expected to adopt the new stem-based design. The company traditionally unveils new products during its summer Unpacked events. While an official announcement date remains unknown, these leaks hint that the Galaxy Buds 3 might be showcased at the upcoming event.
