Samsung has been consistently releasing new A-series smartphones in the first part of the year, typically just a few weeks after unveiling its Galaxy S-series premium devices. The South Korean tech giant has recently introduced the Galaxy S25 series to various international markets, and it looks like the company might be preparing to launch new A-series models, specifically the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36. A recent leak from insider Abhishek Yadav has disclosed the expected launch schedule for both devices.

The information from the tipster suggests that the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 are set to be unveiled globally by mid-March, with the Indian market also included. Given that the flagship phones have just been launched, it’s anticipated that Samsung will start promoting the A56 and A36 in February.

Information about the Galaxy A36 is somewhat limited at this time. A CAD render of the phone indicates it will maintain the Key Island design, characterized by a flat body and a prominent bulge around the buttons on the right side. It is expected to come equipped with a 6.64-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that includes a fingerprint sensor, a 12-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 50-megapixel rear camera. The device may run on either a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or 7s Gen 2 processor, have a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and run on Android 15.

The images that have surfaced on China’s TENAA certification platform have already showcased the design of the Galaxy A56. According to various reports, the A56 is likely to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an Exynos 1580 chipset, and options for 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. Storage choices might include 128 GB or 256 GB of internal memory, alongside a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W charging and will also run Android 15. For its camera setup, it will include a 12-megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera arrangement featuring a 50-megapixel main lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.
