ROG Phone 8 Pro Holds AnTuTu Performance Crown in April 2024

The most recent rankings for top-tier Android smartphones in April have been released, and the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has once again secured the leading position for the second consecutive month. An intriguing aspect is the closely fought competition, with a mere 100,000-point gap separating the first and last rankings. Although this gap may appear substantial, it's important to highlight that all these devices have achieved over 2 million points, resulting in a roughly 5% difference.

In the latest rankings, smartphones equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor dominate the top four spots. Vivo X Fold 3 Pro

Following closely behind in fifth place is the Vivo X100 Pro, powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset, trailing the ROG Phone 8 Pro by 64,223 points. It is essential to recognize that only three devices on the list utilize the Dimensity 9300 processor, while the majority feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. This suggests that many manufacturers remain hesitant to integrate a MediaTek chip into their flagship smartphones.

Nonetheless, Vivo is set to unveil another top-tier smartphone, the Vivo X100s, on May 7. This upcoming device will be equipped with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, anticipated to surpass the 2.3 million points mark on AnTuTu.
