Redmi has scheduled an April 10 launch event in China where they plan on unveiling two products - Redmi Pad Pro and Turbo 3. Although named the Turbo 3, this device marks Redmi's entry into their newly introduced Turbo series and not its third iteration.
Redmi Pad Pro Details
Rumors regarding its massive 10,000mAh battery were previously confirmed by Xiaomi through an official teaser released last month. Furthermore, unlike previous Redmi tablets with 18W charging capability (Redmi Pad and Pad SE), which utilize China's 3C certification platform to power their 18W charging capabilities, this one will support faster 33W charging according to China's 3C certification platform.
Display Specifications And Certifications
Redmi has just provided more key display specifications about its tablet PCs. Following earlier leaks on Weibo, Redmi boasts a 12.1-inch 2.5K IPS display featuring 120Hz variable refresh rate with "Qingshan Eye Protection" technology from Xiaomi along with "Vision Health Friendly++" certification from China's CQCC platform and TUV Rheinland Eye Protection certification; emphasising eye comfort through their display technology.
Brightness And Processor Details
Apart from eye protection, this tablet will feature 600 nits of peak brightness; to compare, Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro provides peak brightness of 900 nits - still highly competitive! Processor details remain unknown at present but speculation suggests a 4nm chip with an estimated AnTuTu score of around 650,000. Eventually it should run Xiaomi's HyperOS, an OS built upon Android 14 as its operating system.
