Xiaomi has recently introduced the 5G variant of its widely acclaimed Redmi Pad Pro tablet in China, which has generated excitement about its global release. The tablet's appearance on Xiaomi's international website suggests that its worldwide availability is just around the corner.
The specifications of this new model match those of the standard version. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also gearing up to launch the 5G version of its POCO Pad, a rebranded Redmi Pad 5G, in markets like India.
Redmi Pad Pro 5G Specifications
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G supports dual SIM cards, enabling 5G connectivity for both. It boasts a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display can achieve brightness levels up to 600 nits, supports Dolby Vision, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor clocked at up to 2.4GHz and paired with an Adreno 710 GPU, the device offers 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1.5TB via microSD. The tablet runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.
