Redmi is preparing to announce the Redmi Note 14 Pro series in China on September 26th. Recent news indicates that the more advanced Note 14 Pro+ may soon arrive in India after its launch in China.
BIS Certification Confirms Indian Variant
The model number 24115RABEI has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site. This number is similar to its Chinese (24115RA8EC) and global (24115RA8EG) equivalents, confirming that it is the Note 14 Pro+. As usual, the BIS listing does not provide any detailed information about the device. This follows the earlier sighting of the standard Redmi Note 14 Pro (model number 24090RA29I) on the same platform.
Specifications of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+
In terms of specifications, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ features a curved 1.5K OLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and boasts a Redmi Note 14 Pro+ featuressmooth 120Hz refresh rate. While the exact size of the screen is not confirmed, rumors suggest it could be a 6.67-inch display.
On the performance front, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and comes with a robust 6,200mAh battery, ensuring it lasts throughout the day on a single charge. It also supports fast charging at an impressive 90W.
Promising Camera Features
The camera setup appears to be quite impressive as well. The primary camera consists of a 50-megapixel OmniVision Light Fusion 800 sensor (OmniVision OV50H) with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 13.2 EV native dynamic range, and an f/1.6 aperture. Additionally, there is another 50-megapixel telephoto lens featuring a 60mm focal length, an f/2.0 aperture, and 2.5x optical zoom. Details about a possible third lens, likely an ultrawide sensor, are still unknown.
With the official launch in China approaching, we can expect more information about the Indian version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ soon. The BIS certification indicates that a launch in India may follow shortly after its Chinese debut. Stay tuned for further updates in the upcoming weeks.
