Redmi has rolled out the Redmi A3x in international markets, beginning with Pakistan. This smartphone shares a similar design with the Redmi A3 but swaps out the MediaTek Helio G36 processor for a Unisoc T603.
Specs & Features
In terms of design, the Redmi A3x boasts a glass back with a circular camera setup. The Black and Green models are highlighted with a golden ring, while the White model features a silver ring.
The front sports a 6.71-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, incorporating DC Dimming technology to minimize eye strain. Both the front and back are shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Inside, it's powered by a Unisoc T603 processor, accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a MicroSD card.
Camera-wise, it includes an 8MP dual AI camera with an additional lens, and a 5MP camera on the front for selfies. The device runs on an Android 14-based operating system. It houses a 5000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack.
Pricing & Availability
The 3GB RAM + 64GB storage version of the Redmi A3x is priced at PKR 18,999, roughly equivalent to $68. The smartphone is also slated to be launched in India and the UAE in the near future.
