Red Magic Launches Limited Edition 150W GaN Charger for Three Kingdoms 8

Nubia’s Red Magic has launched a unique version of its 150W GaN charger, inspired by the well-known game Three Kingdoms 8. This special edition is priced at 999 yuan ($138), and it keeps the same specifications as the standard model that came out in October 2022. It includes a configuration of 1A + 2C + 1DC ports and comes with an integrated screen.

Design and Features

The charger features branding from Three Kingdoms 8 on its sides and keeps the original model’s signature color touchscreen. The screen not only shows real-time power output but also supports RGB lighting and allows for animated wallpapers. Furthermore, this charger can be easily connected to a desktop setup for hassle-free charging.

Performance and Compatibility

This device is capable of charging two laptops at once and can output a maximum of 140W from a single USB-C port, adhering to PD 3.1 standards. Its DC port can provide up to 150W, while the USB-A port can reach a maximum of 30W. This makes it ideal for powering high-energy devices such as laptops and gaming consoles, in addition to smartphones and other gadgets.

Multi-Device Charging

The charger’s flexibility is evident in its ability to work with multiple devices at the same time. It supports a variety of fast-charging protocols, including PD 2.0, PD 3.0, PD 3.1, PPS, QC 2.0, QC 3.0, and QC4+, making it compatible with many different devices out there.

In other news, Red Magic has also recently rolled out the Red Magic X Golden Saga Limited Edition smartphone in China. This phone boasts 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It shares core features with the Red Magic 10 Pro series, like a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a 6.85-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 2000 nits brightness. Noteworthy characteristics include a sapphire glass back, gold-plated details, a gold VC cooling system, and carbon fiber for better thermal management.

Global Availability

Currently, the brand hasn’t disclosed any intentions to release this special edition GaN charger outside of the local market.
